Welcome to the circular revolution! By joining our EXChange Bag Membership, you aren’t just getting a convenient service—you’re helping us build a more sustainable Austin. These Terms outline how our membership works so we can focus on keeping textiles out of landfills together.
1. The EXChange Bag Membership

Our Plans: We offer both Seasonal (every three months) and Annual membership cycles to fit your lifestyle.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to join the movement.
2. Billing and Payments

Auto-Renewal: To keep your service frictionless, memberships renew automatically. Your subscription begins the moment you sign up and will renew on the same date each period.

Simple Charging: You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees, applicable taxes, and any add-ons you choose.

Texas Sales Tax: As we’re based in Austin, taxes apply based on your location and may change as required by law.

Service Fees: A small service fee is added based on your chosen payment method to help cover processing costs.

Payment Issues: If a payment fails, we’ll try again. To keep our routes running smoothly, we may suspend access or cancel the subscription after 2 days of non-payment.
3. Flexibility & Cancellations
We believe in a "no-headache" philosophy. You are always in control of your membership.

How to Cancel: You can cancel at any time through your Account Settings under Manage Subscription or by emailing us at info@ecoxchangeatx.org.

Effective Date: Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You’ll still have access to your member perks until that date.

No Partial Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but we will always send an email confirmation once your cancellation is processed.
4. Refunds and Credits

Our Policy: Because our funds go directly toward local logistics and community support, refunds are generally not offered unless required by law.

Chargebacks: We’re here to help! If you have a billing concern, please reach out to us first. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in a temporary suspension of support while we investigate.
5. Pricing Changes
As our community grows, we may occasionally update our prices. If we do, we’ll notify you via email in advance. If you don’t agree with the new price, you’re free to cancel before the change kicks in.
6. Keeping the Loop Secure
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, misuse of the service, or non-payment. We’re building a community of trust and ask that all members respect our mission and terms.
7. The Fine Print (Legal & Liability)

Service "As Is": We provide our service with care, but to the extent permitted by law, it is provided "as is" without warranties.

Liability Limit: While we strive for perfection on every pickup, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before a claim.
